Captain Dave’s CatNip-n-Grip is a new handmade in the USA, nautically inspired rope cat toy designed by Captain Dave himself. The CatNip-n-Grip is cat tested and cat approved to be chewed, tossed, mule-kicked, and cuddled by fun-loving felines. The soft and fuzzy toy is handmade in the USA of 100 percent cotton nautical rope and hand sewn on each end with waxed sail twine using a traditional whipping stitch. The toy design was thoroughly tested at a local cat adoption center and shelter, It’s All About the Animals, and 25 percent of the proceeds from all CatNip-n-Grip sales will go to support the shelter.

Captain Dave and Island Time Pets introduce a new, navy blue nautical rope dog leash to his line of naturally, nautical handmade dog leashes and collars and toys for the most discriminating canine companions. Created and hand-spliced in New England by Captain Dave, these three-strand nylon rope leashes are also available in natural or black and can be ordered in 3/8-inch diameter line for smaller dogs or ½-inch diameter line for larger dogs, and in 4- and 6-foot lengths. All hardware is bronze and of the highest possible quality. The three-strand nautical rope used in the leashes is made in the USA. Leashes are $39.99 regardless of size. Custom leashes are available in additional lengths, tandem versions, and in an adjustable style for city dwelling dogs. Custom matching collars are also available.
