Fabriano, Italy -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/12/2018 -- A Kickstarter campaign has recently been launched for the 3Berries project, a farm that will produce berries, with the goal of promoting Marche region in Italy.

The project is the brainchild of two friends, who believe in the strength of tradition and everything it can offer for generations to come. When they came into possession of land in the region, they decided to turn their passion into a venture that will not only create employment opportunities for the local community but bring new glory to the beautiful eastern Italian region nestled between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea.

Traditionally the region was known for its agri-food culture. But with the present economic slowdown the local community can do with a ray of hope to turn things around. 3Berries endeavors to be that hope by producing delicious berries that are usually imported in the region from foreign countries. The project will grow three types of berries – Raspberries, Blackberries and Blueberries that are known for their exquisite tastes and health benefits as well.

To create high quality produce there is a requirement for organic material, efficient drip irrigation system and a laboratory to process the quickly perishable berries. The Kickstarter campaign was created to raise funds for these expenses. The project is low on risk because all the funds will be invested in it and will go a long way in not only producing divine berries but increasing their shelf lives as well.
