Los Angelas, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/01/2013 -- Best Buy Co., Inc.(NYSE:BBY) shares jumped 1.89% to $16.77 after the company today posted fiscal fourth- quarter adjusted profit that topped analysts’ estimates and said the retailer will focus on continuing its turnaround after failing to receive a takeover offer from its founder. The fourth-quarter net loss narrowed to $409 million, or $1.21 a share, from a loss of $1.82 billion, or $5.17, a year earlier. Sales rose 0.2 percent to $16.7 billion, topping analysts’ average estimate of $16.3 billion and snapping a streak of two quarterly declines.

Pengrowth Energy Corp (USA)(NYSE:PGH) shares jumped 7.99% to $4.46. The Company, on Feb. 13, announced that its March 15, 2013 cash dividend will be CAD0.04 per common share. The ex-dividend date is Feb.21, 2013. The dividend will be payable to all shareholders who hold Pengrowth shares at the close of business on the record date of February 25, 2013.

Danish industrial group Danfoss A/S will buy the 24.4% of Sauer-Danfoss Inc it does not already own after increasing its bid to value the U.S. company at $2.83 billion. Danfoss increased its offer to $58.50 per share from $49 bid in November. A Sauer-Danfoss special committee, which was formed after the initial bid, approved the new offer unanimously.
