Advaxis Inc (OTC:ADXS) Annouces Lead Investigator of Penn Canine Study

Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/18/2013 -- Advaxis, Inc. (OTC:ADXS) announced that the lead investigator of Penn canine study, Dr. Nicola Mason and scientific founder of ADXS, Dr. Yvonne Paterson received inaugural University of Pennsylvania One Health Award for their contribution in research of a proprietary immunotherapy of Advaxis, ADXS-cHER2. This immunotherapy is meant for the treatment of canine osteosarcoma.

Dr. Nicola Mason stated that he and Dr, Paterson received One Health Award for their remarkable contribution in development of ADXS-cHER2. He added that Phase I of clinical trials is near completion and that the lack of any side effects have encouraged them. He also said that it was too early to say anything about the efficacy of the formulation but they are encouraged by the results that have been obtained this far.
