Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/21/2013 -- AMARANTUS BIOSCI INC (OTC:AMBS) has appointed Mark Benedyk, Ph.D., who is currently a Managing partner at Rila Partners LLC, a business and corporate consultancy, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Benedyk has worked for Amarantus BioScience, Inc. as a Corporate Advisor since 2011 and has more than 18 years of experience as a senior business development executive and consultant to life science companies.

Dr. Benedyk is enthusiastic about joining the board as the Company is at its primary level of scientific and business development growth, and is eager to help the Company with its advancement towards the Parkinson’s disease.

Besides the new addition to the board, Amarantus BioScience Inc has announced that its shares no longer are to be traded on Berlin-Bremen Stock Exchange BBSE, as BBSE is one of the few exchanges which allows the listing and trading of shares without the consent of the listed companies itself.

The Company did not authorize BBSE for the listing of its stock, and demanded cessation of its unauthorized trading. BBSE, in accordance to the demand has ceased trading of its common stock.
