AMR Corporation (PINK:AAMRQ) Enters in Final Stages of Merger

Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/25/2013 -- AMR Corporation (PINK:AAMRQ) reported that they are in final stage of completion of merger with US Airways Group Inc. AMR stakeholders are working to finish all the requirements of this merger. It is expected that deal will complete in 2 weeks. In 2011, AMR Corporation filed for bankruptcy due to high labour cost. Now, as AMR is combining with US Airways, the company management is hopeful that it will make up one of world largest airline.

The offer for merger was made in November 2012. Doug Parker, CEO was offered to execute the operations of combined Airline. It was proposed that 30 percent of the shares will be owned by US Airways stockholders where as 70 percent will be owned by AMR creditors.
