Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/21/2013 -- Applied DNA Sciences Inc (OTC:APDN) held the annual meeting of stock holders on 1st March, 2013.

Four proposals were put forward in Applied DNA Sciences' Annual meeting of stockholders. The first proposal stated that James A. Hayward, Sanford R. Simon, John Bitzer, III, Karol Gray, Charles Ryan and Yacov Shamash, and will form a board of directors for one year till their successors are elected.

The second proposal was for the approval of advisory vote on the executive compensation. The third proposal was to get advisory vote on the future advisory votes on the frequency of executive compensation.

In the end, the fourth proposal was the ratification of the appointment of RBSM, LLP as the company’s independent and registered public accounting firm.
