ArcelorMittal (ADR) (NYSE:MT), a top international steelmaker, intends to open again afterward this month a blast furnace at one of its French places that has been discontinued for many months.

An official of the CGT union at ArcelorMittal, validating a report in a local newspaper, stated that the second blast furnace at ArcelorMittal’s plant at Dunkerque, shut down since August, should restart operations on January 20.
