Los Angelas, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/02/2012 -- Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) is a roaster, marketer and retailer of specialty coffee in the world, operating in more than 50 countries. Starbucks purchases and roasts whole bean coffees that it sells, along with handcrafted coffee and tea beverages and a variety of fresh food items, through Company-operated stores. Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) reported fourth quarter earnings excluding items of 46 cents a share, 1 cent above the average analysts’ estimate. Revenue gained 11 percent to $3.36 billion from $3.03 billion a year ago, slightly below analysts’ expectations of $3.36 billion. The coffee chain raised its full-year 2013 earnings forecast and hiked its quarterly dividend by 24 percent to 21 cents a share from 17 cents a share.
