Biodegradable Plastic News: PET Trays Biodegrade 15.8% in 27 Days with BioSphere Plastic Technology

The testing is being conducted for BioSphere Plastic by third-party testing lab Eden Research Laboratories of Albuquerque, NM. Furthermore, the PET test results show continued biodegradation of the tested PET product could fully biodegrade in as little as 7 months. This test being performed according to ASTM D5511-12 testing shows a 15.8% biodegradation with both gasses and biomass calculated in the first 27 days.
