Aberdeen, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/24/2017 -- On Friday, Nov. 3, Blanton's Air, Plumbing & Electric will host the second annual Troops to Trades Golf Tournament at Gates Four Golf & Country Club. All proceeds go directly to the Troops to Trades program, which helps honorably discharged veterans, National Guard members and Reserve members of the U.S. Armed Services transition to rewarding careers. Members receive career training and placement options in the skilled trades of plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning.

Nathan Coolidge Blanton, the company's founder, served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945. Throughout its history, Blanton's has supported veterans across the Fayetteville area.
