The championship took place at the end of August with war veteran, Peter Price, from Peterborough, taking part in the visually impaired category. This is the first time vision impaired players have been able to take part in the championships, putting archery one step closer to being a viable sport at the Paralympics.
A spotter aids with the shooting, and then the archery player uses their skills to make the shot. Peter had been training five hours a day to take part in the championship, and has represented the country in the B2 category.
