Bollywood Superstar Aadesh Shrivastava Releases First U.S. Single

Hollywood, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/05/2012 -- Bollywood Super Star Aadesh Shrivastava comes to America to support the release of his first US solo single, She Wants Some Fun. Shrivastava, who’s going by simply Aadesh these days, is no stranger to success having had chart topping singles and scoring more than a 100 films in his native land India. Aadesh now takes on the arduous task of establishing his distinct brand in the United States. His 1st single, She Wants Some Fun, has been recrafted by the boy genius dub step producer Joshua David, and as the title implies it’s about the escapades of a wild party girl in search of the ever elusive “fun.” Aadesh’s original version will satisfy his diehard fans as it’s largely influenced by his Hindi roots, right down to the sitar solo.

Aadesh arrived in Hollywood to support his release on the newly minted Evolution Music/Emusic Global which is exclusively distributed by the Universal Music Group. While in town, Aadesh hosted an exclusive listening party for some of Hollywood’s tastemakers at a private residence in Beverly Hills.

Additionally, he has visited the Universal Music headquarters and held a press conference on the Paramount Pictures lot which is the base of operations for his label head. He also created a channel on the new “IT” software platform http://www.qubeey.com, and joins the ranks of Chris Brown and some 160 other celebrities. Aadesh is the 1st Indian artist to have that honor and will be the face of that brand abroad.

Evolution Music’s CEO, Cassandra Cooper states, “the label is committed to the Aadesh Nation brand and will follow up with 2 or 3 more singles that feature T-Pain and Akon respectively. We will also be seeking film scoring opportunities for Aadesh as he has such an impressive track record in that field as well.”

While the label is new venture of Matriarch Multimedia, Cooper is no stranger to the music business herself having previously worked with the likes of the late Michael Jackson and, Jay Z amongst others. During her 5 years stint in the industry, she aided in the sales and Marketing of more than 70 million units. She states, “I have an ear for music and I know a hit when I hear it.” She is banking on her years of expertise to launch the careers of not only Aadesh, but a roster of young up and comers, Yung Scientifik, (US) Saffron (UK) and Miguelito. (Puerto Rico) Cooper added, “we are starting a new musical evolution over here.”

Aadesh wraps his US visit with a release party at Hollywood’s Club LaVida, where he was flanked by paparazzi when he arrived and a few of Hollywood’s "it crowd" came out to support him. Celebrity choreographer Shane Sparks, BET/MTV Tye Hollywood, Reality star Monica Danger Leon of for the love of Ray J fame and video vixen Masika Kalysha, were all seen out on the dance floor and walked the red carpet with him.
