The research took into account 4,785,925 quotes issued from October 1 to the end of the 2012. In the data, it was found that 19% of individuals quoted had driving convictions. The most commonly shared conviction was exceeding speed limits. Speeding convictions appeared to affect premiums by 34%, jumping from an average of £682 to £913.
