Clarke Gough are the company behind the now popular Northern Quarter attraction DogBowl. As interior bar fitters, they helped make DogBowl the place to be in Manchester
Manchester, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/01/2013 -- Clarke Gough are a Shop, Retail and Bar fitter company based in the Manchester area. They're behind some of the most iconic bars from the recent resurgence of truly great Manchester Bars. There are some very well known bars, behind which Clarke Gough are responsible. Here's a run down of some of the work they've been involved with.
The place to be for ravers on a Friday or Saturday night. Sankeys got it 's name from the soap factory it habited after the soap business shut down. It became iconic in Manchester recently. So much so that the owner received an offer they couldn't refuse and moved the business over to Ibiza. Far more well known for the dance scene than Manchester. Such plaudits were won by how popular the club was, but it would have been far less popular had it no been for the spectacular bar fitted in the manchester based business. See the attached images for how it looks.
Black Dog Ballroom Manchester
Black Dog Ballroom has long been a place for revelry and the meeting of friends in the Northern Quarter. Part in fact due to just how unique the bar felt. There are a lot of bars in Manchester but when introduced, Black Dog Ballroom stood a cut above the rest. It became a place to go on almost everyone's list. No surprise then that it was Clarke Gough who fitted the bar in the Manchester locations.
They worked tirelessly and professionally from the very beginning – that involved extensive consultation with the current owners of Black Dog Ballrooms on the design and feel of the place – to the very end. The professionalism and talent of Clarke Gough enabled Black Dog Ballroom to open their doors to the public on time. It was all this great work from the pub and bar fitting company Clarke Gough that eventually won them further contracts with the Black Dog franchise, furnishing both Black Dog NWS (New Wakefield Street) and the revolutionary new idea, DogBowl.
The DogBowl bar fitting was more of a challenge as not only did the bar have to be fitted, but so did bowling lanes. A twist that sees this new wave bar retain it's place as a must visit when out in Manchester.
There are many more bars, pubs and even retail spaces that have been constructed by Clarke Gough, and you would be surprised by how many of them posses a vaulted position in their industry.
