As opposed to a quiet 2012 in terms of new launches, 2013 was literally bursting with new launches, mentioned below. In addition, table sauces saw development in previously negligible categories such as barbecue sauces, brown sauces, cocktail sauces, spicy chilli/pepper sauces, tartare sauces, Worcester/steak sauces and vinaigrettes. Companies correctly guessed that 2013 was the time to extend their product portfolios to products usually not connected with Croatian cuisine.
