Cornelius, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/13/2013 -- Dr. Kenneth McGrath has been treating patients in Cornelius, North Carolina for years and was featured this year in Charlotte Magazine’s list of Top Dentists. This is the sixth year that Dr. McGrath has been selected for this honor. When asked about his inclusion in this list, Dr. McGrath replies, “I’m especially pleased because this is based on recommendations from other dentists and specialists, which means these are people who’ve seen my work, and who really understand what they’re looking at.” To his patients, though, he has always been a top dentist, one who takes the time to listen in what he calls a “one patient at a time” setting.

“I have deliberately kept my practice small so I can spend time with each patient. I can’t have five examination rooms going at once and still feel that person-to-person contact. I want to know my patients as people rather than as charts and procedures”. – Dr. Kenneth McGrath

Dr. McGrath is a General Dentist, but also has an emphasis on restorative and implant dentistry. He and his team address a variety of patient needs, from ‘routine’ maintenance to tooth colored fillings and porcelain veneers to crowns and bridges as well as single or full mouth implant restoration. Their goal is always to improve health while transforming painful and unsightly smiles into radiant and genuine smiles of happiness.

“I have not been able to eat well for years and have existed mostly on soft foods and Slimfast. You are the third dentist to treat me, and the first to get my problems resolved. Last night for the first time in years, I ordered a big juicy steak. Thanks to my new implants, I had NO trouble eating it! THANK YOU.” – Tommy Strong

Dr. McGrath is meticulous in his pursuit of excellence and has surrounded himself with team members who are equally attentive to their patients as people, not just smiles. He views dental health as a fundamental part of overall health, and patients are scheduled "one at a time" in order to ensure that there is time for quality communication. As part of his commitment to excellence Dr. McGrath is dedicated to continuing dental education. Graduation from dental school was just the beginning of his education, and each year he actively follows and keeps up with the latest research and techniques. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a graduate of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in addition to being a member of the American Dental Association and various local dental study clubs.
