Pulmonary Fibrosis is one of a series of dangerous lung diseases that can result in lung scarring of thickening of the tissue throughout the lungs. Tissue within the lungs becomes thick and scarred, making breathing awkward and therefore also making it difficult for oxygen to make its way into the bloodstream.
St. Helier, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/29/2014 -- The major cause behind pulmonary fibrosis is chronic inflammation, according to the Fibrosis Rehabilitation in 30 Days e-book by Naturally Healthy Publications. The book, written by Robert Redfern, a health coach, author and nutritional formulator, explains how by removing the causes behind the inflammation, many of the symptoms of lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis can be eliminated.
To improve lung health, Redfern suggests following the advice in the e-book, which focuses on holistic health and improving the lung function without the use of drugs. One of the most important ways to do this is to clear the inflammation in the lungs. A simple enzyme known as serrapeptase is very effective at clearing out lung inflammation, mucus and dead or scarred tissue, especially when combined with other nutrients. After this, the body can naturally start to heal itself.
Eat for long-term lung health
Along with a detailed health plan outlining the appropriate nutrients to take to relieve the inflammation, a primarily plant based diet is recommended to initiate the healing process and give the body everything it needs to start on the path to recovery.
In particular, foods that are anti-inflammatory are recommended. This includes plenty of dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, broccoli and avocados. Consuming dark skinned fruits such as blueberries, cherries and red grapes are ideal as they are low in sugar and also high in antioxidants that can protect against free radical cell damage in the body.
Foods to avoid include starchy carbohydrates such as breads, pastas, cereals, highly processed ‘junk’ foods and refined sugars. All of these foods increase inflammation in the body and make it more difficult for the body to clear out the mucus, so the symptoms of pulmonary fibrosis persist.
A healthy plant based diet encourages the body to heal and allows the lungs to be cleared, so breathing becomes easier and oxygen can be more readily transported around the body. Fibrosis Rehabilitation in 30 Days also highlights the importance of practicing proper breathing techniques, especially if you have a lung health problem. In the e-book readers can learn how to breathe properly, through relaxed breathing in the diaphragm, especially in the tummy area.
Putting the plan together to see results
Acupressure can also benefit lung disease sufferers. An electro-acupressure device known as HealthPoint™ allows for various acupuncture points on the chest to be stimulated, without any needles. This is a painless and highly effective procedure that can treat over 150 pain and non-pain conditions.
When each of the above factors is followed correctly as outlined in the Fibrosis Rehabilitation in 30 Days health plan at the back of the e-book, pulmonary fibrosis sufferers will begin to see a significant improvement in the lung health, in as little as four weeks’ time.
Fibrosis Rehabilitation in 30 Days is available to download and read from Amazon Kindle, Google Play and a host of other e-publishing platforms. These can be read on your iPad, iPhone, Kindle and other electronic devices, including the PC and Mac.
