Judy Milner former UPS franchisee owner in Northern Virginia has an incredible story on how she climbed the corporate ladder to the VP of Operational Support and Cheryl Rigdon, a speech pathologist who invented the Spatty and Spatty Daddy and went on the hit TV show The Shark Tank, to pitch her invention hoping to gain support are featured on next Thursday’s episode of Deanne DeMarco’s entertaining, informative and inspiring program, “Today’s Inspiring Women.” The weekly hour-long show airs at 12 noon Pacific on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Radio network.

Today Judy Milner is the VP of Operational Support with The UPS Store. Early in her career she held a number of positions with the company including accounts receivable manager. She left corporate to own and run a UPS Store franchise. After a few years she and her husband became multiple area franchisees and owned multiple UPS Store locations in Northern Virginia. The UPS Store offers in store and online printing, notary, document finishing, mailbox services, packing and shipping, all tailored to fit small business owners. After selling her franchise locations she is now VP of Operational Support with the UPS Store.

Deanne DeMarco’s second guest, Cheryl Rigdon, works full time as a Speech Language Pathologist. Yet Cheryl has always been a problem solver. When she got annoyed by not being able to access the product on the bottom of her expensive bottles of make-up and lotions, she decided to invent a solution. That solution was the Spatty and then she latter designed the Spatty Daddy for some of those kitchen bottles.

Cheryl presented both products on the hit TV show, The Shark Tank on ABC. The Shark Tank is an investing reality show where entrepreneurs make live pitches to a panel of millionaires and billionaires in hopes of getting funding for their business and a partner/mentor to help them be successful. The panel of investor sharks include: Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Daymond John creator of the FUBU fashion line, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Grainer of QVC-TV, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary.
