Tatch is the quickest and easiest way to attach your iPad or any 10" tablet to a headrest. If you have kids, a tablet computer, and a car…you need Tatch!
Vincennes, IN -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/31/2013 -- Now backseat passengers (kids, friends, family, etc.) can watch videos comfortably in any vehicle. Tatch works with any 10 inch tablet and can be used with most iPad and tablet cases, so there's usually no need to remove the case. Tatch simply stretches around opposite corners, holds the tablet securely, then the Velcro strap attaches it to any car headrest. Plus, users will still have full access to all iPad controls.
Designed2Tip created many, many rough prototypes by hand before arriving at the pre-production prototype version. The design, thickness, angles, and silicone material work together to give maximum durability, strength, and stability, and the industrial Velcro holds Tatch securely to the headrest. They had a local draftsman complete the dimensional drawings, worked with a patent attorney and have secured Patent Pending status. They have selected a manufacturer, received the first five production ready prototypes from the factory, and selected a local contract sewing manufacturer to handle the sewing. Now they’re ready to go into production.
Designed2Tip is seeking the funding needed to cover the cost of their production mold (they purchased a silicone mold through the factory to produce current prototypes), their initial production order, sewing, and packaging. The goal amount is the break-even cost to manufacture the first production run.
The Tatch Kickstarter campaign ends November 17, 2013.
