New Delhi, India -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/17/2017 -- Digitalberge the SEO company based in New Delhi India has decided to accept Bitcoins for its digital marketing services. This though would be a pilot project and the company has already started the process of accepting the Bit Coins for its overseas operations.

In a Press Conference in New Delhi the company spokesperson Mr Yuvansh Bharadwaj told the reporters that though the company was upbeat about the new developments it was still exploring the legal and practical implications of its decisions, once the legal experts confirms that there is no hassle in accepting the Bitcoins for its services, the company would start accepting bitcoins from January 2018.

When Asked by the reporters why the company took this decision Mr. Yuvansh said that it was in fact the long standing demand of the customers to enable them to pay in bitcoins as it was hassle-free and secure.

The BitCoins is an international virtual currency not backed by any government and so many people are still not very comfortable with it. However, with the exponential rise of Bitcoins vs Dollar and for that matter all the important currencies, the interest of many people has increased in dealing in BitCoins.

The opinions are sharply divided in India over the legality of Bitcoins. Most people think it is neither legal nor illegal to trade in Bitcoins in India, the government of India and indeed the RBI does not have any role if the bitcoins are traded between two entities though they would not be encashed in any bank in India.

The decentralized virtual currency that took the world by storm has witnessed a 300 per cent rise in value in just one year. Its value hit an all-time high when Japan passed a law to accept bitcoin as a legal payment method. Despite RBI's reluctance to recognize the cyptocurrency, the interest in Bitcoins in India has not waned. Even as economies like Japan and Russia move to legalize the use of Bitcoins, India, despite being at the cusp of a digital revolution is yet to officially recognize the cryptocurrency.
