DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS) shares decreased 3.92% to $1.96. The company, on Mar. 7, reported a fourth quarter loss of $129.8 million, or 34 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier loss of $6.2 million, or two cents a share. Adjusted loss was 15 cents a share in the latest period. Revenue fell 14% to $282.9 million. Analysts were expecting a per-share loss of 11 cents a share on revenue of $294 million.

STMicroelectronics N.V. (ADR) (NYSE:STM) shares fell 3.89% to $7.66. The company, last month, announced that it has added a standalone 3-axis magnetometer to its MEMS sensor portfolio. The new sensor delivers performance in a very small package. Because of its small size and performance, the sensor is suitable for mobile phones, tablets or personal navigation devices. Magnetometer is also suited to indoor navigation applications where it calculates dead-reckoning when no satellite signal is available.
