Walgreen Company (NYSE:WAG) reports January sales rose 6.3% Y/Y to $6.15B as it increased the prescriptions filled at comparable stores at a double-digit rate. The company noted the percentage of Express Scripts customers using its pharmacies increased again, but didn't issue specific numbers. Flu shots season-to-date now total over 6.9M, up over 25% from last year's mark, largely due to the widespread flu epidemic.
