Wichita, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/01/2014 -- Wednesday, July 30th, the GreenAcres Market store at Normandie Shopping Center will be taking down the iconic bright yellow “Whole Foods” sign that has dominated the East side of the development for more than 30 years to install a new GreenAcres Market sign.
The name change from Whole Foods Association to GreenAcres Market is part of an agreement with the national Whole Foods Market chain of stores who had previously planned to enter the Wichita market as “Bread and Circus.”
GreenAcres Markets were recently selected as Best Natural Foods Retailer in the U.S. by WholeFoods Magazine (not affiliated with Whole Foods Market).
Three Wichita stores, formerly known as Whole Foods Association, are undergoing work to unify each store under the GreenAcres Market brand including a complete remodel of the Normandie location. District Manager, Joe Hoyt, will be available for interviews onsite July 30th.
