New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/29/2018 -- Inside the Wild Heart is an immersive theatrical play by Group .BR, New York's only Brazilian theatre company. The play is based on the life and works of Brazil's preeminent female literary artist, Clarice Lispector.

The company is currently raising funds and support for this play in a recently launched crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and it is welcoming everyone to generously participate in the fundraising.

"Inside the Wild Heart is an immersive theatrical experience based on the works of the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector and it showcases the themes of Lispector's life's work such as freedom, faith, violence, time, love, maternity, innocence, and solitude." Said Andressa Furletti, the artistic director of the company, while introducing it to the Kickstarter community. The goal of this campaign is to raise a minimum sum of $8000 and the campaign offers several great rewards for its backers. Also, concerned about the current immigration situation, the company is donating $10 from the perk "Make Your Mask" to RAICES Texas and Make the Road New York, both organizations committed to providing legal and survival services to immigrants in need.

In addition, this play previously had a successful run in 2016 under the direction of Regina Miranda. In this more energized return and a revamped production, there will be 11 performers under the direction of Linda Wise. Furthermore, the play will run in New York from October 18th through November 18th, 2018, Thursday through Sunday, with a benefit performance on October 27th.
