Headquarters United States Air Force Space Command (HQ AFSPC) Awards ACT I a $3M Contract to Provide Acquisition Support Services

 

Arlington, VA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/07/2016 -- Advanced Concepts and Technologies International, L.L.C. (ACT I), an industry-leading provider of Total Acquisition Management solutions, was awarded a $3M Task Order under its GSA OASIS Small Business Pool 1 contract to provide Acquisition Management Services to the U.S. Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) Headquarters (HQ) Cyberspace Superiority Division over the next five years.

The company's support of the U.S. Air Force National Security communications missions in cyberspace builds upon their current engagement with the AFSPC's Ground Multiband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminals providing logistical support.

The Cyberspace Superiority Division manages requirements development for programs and projects delivering cyberspace network capabilities including enterprise infrastructure and applications. The division provides policy, resources, requirements, and acquisition oversight to organize, train, and equip air, space, ground, and maritime forces enabling full spectrum capabilities presentation to the Joint Forces Commander. ACT I's direct support encompasses Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) processes technical, programmatic and budgeting support related to Cryptological Modifications, Air Force Communication Security (COMSEC), and Cyberspace activities.
