Pompano Beach, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/18/2013 -- Finnish cellular giant and once the supreme leader among cellular companies, Nokia (NYSE:NOK) is launching design files that would let users use 3D printers to create their personal cases for its Lumia phones.
Files having mechanical drawings, case measurements and suggested materials have previously been launched by the Finnish company.
Those having the files would be capable of drawing a custom-made case for the famous Lumia 820 phone. The project turns Nokia one of the only huge cellular companies to really back 3D printing.
