New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/23/2013 -- MidCoupeInsurance.com recently released its analysis of insurance rates of several midsize coupe cars, revealing that the Honda Accord’s yearly insurance is the least in New York compared with the other midsize coupe cars.
The median price of a used Honda Accord is $31,140, while its average insurance is $1,280, which is 4% of its cost. Though the data differs from region to region within New York, the Honda Accord has the lowest insurance percentage in Albany, Brooklyn, Buffalo, Rochester, as well as Syracuse.
The analysis of used midsize coupe car insurance rates conducted by MidCoupeInsurance.com within New York revealed –
1. The median price of the Honda Accord is $20,833 in Brooklyn, and is $19,951 in Buffalo. The average insurance in Brooklyn, however, is significantly higher. It is $3,677 in Brooklyn (17% of the median price), but only $1,655 in Buffalo (8% of median price).
2. In Albany, the average insurance of the Hyundai Genesis as well as the Nissan Altima is 4% of their median price.
3. In Syracuse, the Hyundai Genesis has an average insurance of $1,005, while the Nissan Altima has $971. The Hyundai Accord has an average insurance of $898.
4. In Rochester, the insurance percentage of the Honda Accord is 3%, while the Hyundai Genesis and Nissan Altima have an average insurance of 4% and 5% respectively.
