Pursuant to the acquisition, stockholders of PROLOR will receive 0.9951 shares of OPKO common stock for each share of PROLOR common stock.
OPKO and PROLOR also announced that the stockholders of both OPKO and PROLOR approved all proposals presented at their respective stockholder meetings held on August 28, 2013.

Northstar Realty Finance Corp. (NYSE:NRF) shares gained 0.46% to $8.70. The company, on August 16, announced that NorthStar Real Estate Income Trust, Inc., its first sponsored non-traded REIT, successfully priced a $531.5 million non-recourse, floating-rate CMBS transaction at a weighted average coupon of LIBOR + 2.68%. The CMBS transaction will initially be collateralized by $425.2 million of commercial real estate loans with the flexibility to contribute up to $106.3 million of additional commercial real estate loans within six months of closing.

Sunedison Inc (NYSE:SUNE) shares gained 2.70% to $7.60. The company on August 22 said it would spin off its semiconductor business in an initial public offering and use the proceeds to fund its solar business. The company said it plans to sell a minority stake in the newly formed SunEdison Semiconductor to the public in the offering, scheduled for early 2014.
The company ended the second quarter with a project pipeline of 2.9 GW, up 218 megawatt from the first quarter.

Amarin Corporation plc (ADR) (NASDAQ:AMRN) stock gained 2.73% to $6.41. The company, on August 26, announced the submission of a Supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking approval for Novasep Group, S.A.S., through its subsidiary Finorga S.A.S., as an additional Vascepa® (icosapent ethyl) active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) supplier. Novasep is part of the previously disclosed Slanmhor consortium with which Amarin announced a global supply agreement in 2012.
