Sourcefire, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIRE) shares climbed 2.13% to $55.67. The company released its earnings data on Feb. 21. The company reported $0.29 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, meeting the consensus estimate of $0.29. The company posted revenue of $67.40 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $63.80 million.

Additionally, the company last week introduced its dedicated Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) appliance, which allows users to defend against sophisticated network malware -- from the point of entry, through propagation, to post-infection remediation.

The company, on Mar. 4, announced its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.08 per share on its common stock, a 33% increase compared to the dividend paid in the same quarter last year. This marks the 40th consecutive quarter that the Company has paid a dividend, the longest, current streak in the gaming industry.
