Stereotaxis Inc (NASDAQ:STXS) shares gained 6.82% to $3.76. The company on Sept. 3 announced that it has completed the renewal of its revolving credit facility with Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). Under an amended credit agreement, Stereotaxis will extend its $3 million asset based revolving line of credit with SVB through March 31, 2014. The amended credit agreement eliminates the $3 million of available advances guaranteed by Alafi Capital Company and an affiliate of Sanderling Venture Partners, and the guarantees have been terminated.
Additionally, the company on August 8 reported second-quarter net loss of $3.0 million, or $0.37 per share, versus a $2.8 million, or $0.32 per share profit last year. Adjusted net loss for the 2013 second quarter would have been $3.2 million, or $0.39 per share, the company said. Revenue for the second quarter 2013 totaled $9.73 million, down compared with $10.51 million in the prior-year quarter.

Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ:HIMX) shares increased 6.75% to $6.48. The company on August 15 said its second-quarter net income rose 29% as small and medium-sized panel driver sales increased. The company earned $19.4 million, or 11 cents per share, for the period ended June 30. That's up from $15.1 million, or 9 cents per shares, a year ago. Adjusted earnings were 12 cents per share. Analysts, on average, expected earnings of 11 cents per share. Revenue climbed 9 percent to $207 million from $189.5 million.
Looking forward, the company anticipates third-quarter adjusted earnings between about 10 and 12 cents per share. Revenue is expected to fall 5 percent to 12 percent from the second quarter's $207 million. This implies approximately $182 million to $197 million. Analysts predict earnings of 9 cents per share on revenue of $218.8 million.
