San Juan, Puerto Rico -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/28/2017 -- This past November, ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists locations recognized and honored veterans and their associates who are veterans.
A number of the national medical linen rental and laundry provider's locations throughout the country have veteran associates. The company's celebratory events ranged from providing gift bags to hosting gatherings with food. Many locations also presented specially-designed sweatshirts to their local veteran associates.
The Corporate office invited a veteran who is currently a police officer to speak about his experience in the United States Marines. Associates asked questions and viewed informational slides about the Department of Defense.
Other locations celebrated in their own way. While the ImageFIRST Atlanta team made up gift bags for their veterans, the Chicago team played "Patriotic Games" and the North Carolina team held a special Veterans Day breakfast for all of their associates.
Additionally, the LA team created shadow boxes for their four veterans, which they presented with the sweatshirt during a lunch break that featured the vets' favorite foods. The Dallas team celebrated Veterans Day by providing red, white, and blue bags of popcorn to each associate. They also posted a list of associates with family members that served.
