TriQuint Semiconductor(NASDAQ:TQNT) shares increased 1.10% to $7.84. The company on Oct. 23 company said that revenue from mobile devices and defense markets improved for the period but fell for its network markets. The company earned $13.6 million, or 8 cents per share, for the quarter that ended Sept. 28. That is compared with a loss of $11.2 million, or 7 cents per share, in the same quarter last year. It earned 16 cents per on an adjusted result versus earnings of 2 cents per share last year. Triquint's revenue jumped to $250.8 million from $200.8 million. Analysts were anticipating adjusted earnings of 10 cents per share on revenue of $250.1 million.

TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ:TASR) shares climbed 14.75% to $17.97. The company on Oct. 30 said its third-quarter profit and revenue beat analyst estimates as police departments upgraded to a new line of stun-guns. Sales also rose for its wearable cameras.
Net income rose 39 percent to $5.1 million, or 10 cents per share, from $3.7 million, or 7 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 22 percent to $35.2 million, from $28.8 million a year earlier. Analysts had been expecting a profit of 8 cents per share.
