iSkin reaches out to impossible2Possible to empower youth to make positive changes in the world, using a run across the Kalahari Desert.

With the help of iSkin, i2P will lead 8 youth ambassadors (aged 17-21) as they run across the Kalahari Desert that is currently parched by drought. The Kalahari Desert covers much of the country of Botswana, and parts of Namibia and South Africa.
Ray Zahab, the founder of i2P, has completed a series of expeditions to raise kids’ awareness of environmental education and to make positive changes in the world. In 2006, a 7,500 kilometer run across the Sahara Desert, which started in Senegal and finished in Egypt, took 111 days to complete by Ray. This raised awareness of the African water shortage. A 33-day trek to the South Pole, which became the fastest unsupported trek across Antarctica, actually was a sprint through the snow. This raised Antarctic ecosystem awareness.
