Fullerton, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/02/2012 -- The Fullerton Technology Foundation named Jason Sugarman the 2012 Honoree.

Jason Sugarman and Elizabeth Guber Sugarman focus their charitable activities on education. In the past year, the Sugarman’s have been a lead Sponsor for Fullerton Technology Foundation, The Wilshire Boulevard Temple School and Determined to Succeed. The three charities are all different yet focus on educating the youth.

The Sugarman’s combine fun evening events with good causes so donors feel like they got double their money’s worth from contributions. They support many causes and find interesting and entertaining ways to raise funds.

The Fullerton Technology Foundation provides laptop computers and iPads for public school students who lack the means to own a laptop. The Sugarman’s sponsored a 250 person wine dinner and auction at Cal State Fullerton, which raised over $125,000 in June 2012.

In April 2012, Jason Sugarman and his wife Elizabeth hosted a 180 person dinner event in Beverly Hills that boasted first-class gourmet food, a celebrity auctioneer, a famous pianist and was held in the home of a Hollywood movie producer. The gala raised over $600,000 for the Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

An upcoming event in October befitting the Determined to Succeed organization is anticipated to raise over $1000,000 for underprivileged children to attend private schools. The Back to School Movie Night features music, gourmet food for children and adults, raffle tickets and an outdoor movie screening under the stars.
