The Wisconsin native has followed Blossom's life to research her from her roots in the Catskills, to her musical collaborations in the golden age of NYC jazz, to Paris and beyond in an inspiring story. This journey led her to bring Blossom's legendary songbook to life and she has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for this project.

Jaye is a Master of Arts in Vocal Performance from the New York University and the artist has truly devoted herself to vocal music and storytelling through song.

Margrethe Blossom Dearie was born in 1924 and she started her own record label called Daffodil Records in 1982, through which she published The First Blossom Dearie Songbook. Blossom's last apartment piano of the legendary artist is now owned by Jaye Maynard. Moreover, Blossom recorded at Capitol Records and Jaye will also follow in her footsteps by recording and pressing vinyl at the same record label.
