Australia rates increased the most compared to the rest of the world

The survey also showed that prices paid per room around the world were approximately 140,000.

The occupancy rate in Australia flew this year as it reached the highest in the last decade. As a result the demand surpassed supply in the main business hubs and tourist hubs. The prices in the Western Australia on their peak due to the resources boom and the prices of the room per night reached up $211, which is 21% up as compared to the first half of the year 2011.
