Hytrol is pleased to announce the addition of Curtis Norris as customer training coordinator, effective February 17, 2017. In his role, Norris coordinates Hytrol's training seminars and works closely with Jon Noell, our customer training specialist to provide training opportunities to our integration partners and customers.

Hytrol is pleased to announce that Cole Prince has accepted the position of Hytrol's manager of electrical and controls. In his new position, Prince will be responsible for overseeing system controls projects from quoting to project planning and implementation. He will evaluate and organize procedures to assure the success of these projects. He will also be responsible for providing support for electrical and controls requests.

Philip Poston, Hytrol's Director of Strategic Planning, recently discussed the value of relationships. LD Products, a multifaceted printing and office supply company, worked with Hytrol and integration partner, McCombs-Wall, to design and install an energy-efficient automated material handling system capable of accommodating the company's growth. The new system not only met the standards for its LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) headquarters but allowed for future expansion, including increased capacity, accuracy and speed.

"In the traditional method of business, an engineer may design product technology, a marketing team will research the best way to showcase a product, and business development will connect end users with your business. Product management utilizes all three roles, and creates a structure and takes responsibility for the overall process. The product manager must be fluent in all three areas to be able to take a product from its beginning stages to the end result," noted Smith.
