Liquor Control Board of Ontario acknowledged Hytrol and its Integration Partners Norpak and Columbia Machines as they achieved high efficiencies with proprietary, patent-pending pallet load-building systems. Judy Rice, Contributing Editor for Packaging World reported that the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, (LCBO) a Canadian provincial Crown corporation in Ontario, Canada, processes more than 50 million cases and runs a 500,000 square feet warehouse. The Durham Retail Service Center was the recipient of the 2015 Supply Chain Achievement Award from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in recognition of their patent-pending load-building system. LCBO Executive VP George Soleas said, "Without the talent, vision, and commitment of the team at LCBO, Hytrol, Norpak, Millar Systems, and Columbia Machine, there is no way this would have been possible."

Hytrol is pleased to announce that Cole Prince has accepted the position of Hytrol's Manager of Electrical and Controls. In his new position, Prince will be responsible for overseeing system controls projects from quoting to project planning and implementation. He will evaluate and organize procedures to assure the success of these projects. He will also be responsible for providing support for electrical and controls requests.

Hytrol and the integration partner, Century Conveyor, worked diligently with SalSon Logistics to implement an automated material handling system capable of processing the customer's large volume of product. The conveyor system gives SalSon the ability to deconsolidate five times the amount of product compared to their previous system.

Tony Sartin, Hytrol's customer care manager, recently explained how to create customer loyalty. In the past, companies have tried to do it by cutting prices and creative gimmicks, but what almost every industry has learned is that it is done by building a relationship with a customer on a great experience with the company.

Hytrol, manufacturer of advanced conveyor systems, controls, and solutions, attributes much of their success to integration partners like Aloi Materials Handling. Bob Manion, vice president and owner at Aloi recently discussed why being a Hytrol integration partner is important to their business model. "Being a Hytrol integration partner provides us several strategic advantages when providing our value proposition to our customers. Certainly, the Hytrol product breath allows us to design an integration solution for our customers utilizing one common platform of products. Hytrol's brand recognition in the market helps us build confidence with our customers that we are providing a reliable solution with a brand that will support them both during and after installation," noted Manion.

Hytrol and integration partner, McCombs-Wall, worked with LD Products to create an energy-efficient automated material handling system capable of growing with the company. While meeting all of the standards to qualify for LEED-certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the new system allows for future expansion, including increased capacity, accuracy and speed.

Hytrol's Jon Noell, Customer Training Specialist, is from Jonesboro, AR. Noell shared what excites him about working for Hytrol, "I have never been anywhere that is as dedicated to improvement and as open to change as Hytrol. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and striving to meet higher goals. Whether it's a new process, new equipment, or a totally new shop layout, if its better we will do it. In his role, he is responsible for the overall direction and success of the manufacturing area. Fanning will provide direction and support for the team as they drive continuous improvement activities for the safety of our employees, the quality of products and the value Hytrol adds for our integration partners and customers.

Hoj Engineering, Hytrol's integration partner, worked with Backcountry to develop a unique solution capable of providing an increase in their logistic footprint and fulfillment space, while reducing processing costs and shipping expenses. The system is comprised of several customized applications, one of which provides a noteworthy approach to the traditional "pick and pass" order fulfillment process. This solution utilizes an overhead conveyor spine to vertically sort product to the three levels of the pick module. This allows the main conveyor line to transport customer-order totes only, while replenishment and empty totes are transported directly to their specified zone.

Ray will be in charge of the company's Projects and Systems Design Engineering Teams, guiding and monitoring large systems projects from the quoting process through systems design and order entry.
