S & B Porta-Bowl Now Has New ADA Restroom Trailers, the Royal Augusta & Newport ADA Restroom Trailers

S & B Porta-Bowl now offers a new line of ADA (Americans with Disability Act) Restroom Trailers that will give wheelchairs plenty of space to maneuver around. The ADA Restroom lowers to the ground, minimizing the amount of space needed for the ramp, which is a huge improvement upon the current models that will reduce interior square footage to accommodate for the extra ramp space need. The Royal Augusta & Newport ADA trailers are 30' long and 15' wide, which contributes to the roominess of this restroom trailer series. S & B Porta-Bowl recognized the need for disabled users and that the current market is not meeting their needs quick enough. "S & B Porta-Bowl is sensitive to the needs of the disabled and sought to bring on a line of portable restrooms that will serve them better & make it a nicer experience" says Jon Sola, the President.

Actionable Intelligence Rather than Traceability Drives Effective ROI for Food Companies

LogoTraceGains makes the food supply chain safer and more profitable by helping companies produce finished goods faster, better, and more cost-effectively. Supplier Compliance is a food safety firewall that allows companies to detect and eliminate problems in the supply chain before they are incorporated into finished goods and shipped to customers. By reducing ingredient variability, the finished product becomes less costly to manufacture, performs better, and ultimately increases customer satisfaction. Supplier Impact enables companies to easily measure how each supplier affects finished goods quality and profitability, and connects product outcomes and customer feedback to specific upstream ingredient suppliers. Suppliers are continuously scored based on performance of key attributes for each shipment, and rank ordered against their peers. Effective product recalls are accelerated and performed at the unit level, so recall costs, long-term brand damage, and brand rehabilitation costs are minimized. All TraceGains solutions present findings in easy-to-understand dashboard graphics with full drilldown capabilities, which are available for onsite deployment or delivered as SaaS (software-as-a-service).

Jeff Klapp of TraceGains Looks at Supplier Compliance for Improved Food Quality

LogoAccording to Jeff Klapp at TraceGains, “Actionable Intelligence is what matters and traceability is absolutely an afterthought because in the process of collecting actionable intelligence, traceability data is axiomatically captured. Most food and CPG companies’ quality personnel hold the perception “traceability is already handled.” What is needed is the ability to look at Supplier Compliance and Impacts to improve downstream visibility through the value chain …this results in improved quality attributes from upstream supplier compliance.”

Certificate of Analysis Addressed by Supplier Compliance at TraceGains

LogoThe mission at TraceGains is to protect the brand of food and beverage clients by eliminating problems before product is shipped to the customer. If a problem does occur this unique solution can minimize the brand damage by using patented recall trace-back and track-forward technologies. A recall alert can be initiated within minutes, reducing potentially bad news to one news cycle, and saving customers millions of dollars in long-term brand rehabilitation costs. The Recall Detective analyzes critical risk factors, going beyond material movement tracking; the Recall Minimizer provides instant multiple scenarios for reduced brand damage.

Discrete Manufacturers Do Not Have Variability of Food Ingredients According to TraceGains Jeff Klapp

LogoAccording to Jeff Klapp at TraceGains, “The discrete manufacturers’ job is much easier – they have a part number and exact specifications but do not have the variability that food ingredients have. Also, the government allows them to share information much more freely than CPG companies. The range of raw material/ingredient variability is unique to the food supply chain. Thus the business rules based upon variability ranges etc. The discrete manufacturing suppliers supply chain participants are much more visible and easily identified. The food supply chain is much less visible, fragmented, and has many more participants.”

TraceGains Awarded Two New Patents

LogoTraceGains, Inc., the SaaS (software as a service) leader in helping companies reduce costs and improve product quality automatically, has been awarded two new patents relating to its core technology, connecting “upstream activities” to “downstream outcomes” across different companies in any supply chain allowing companies to understand their suppliers’ true impact. These new patents increase to fourteen the TraceGains patent portfolio for its cross-enterprise solutions and technology engine, and they both broaden and deepen the range and scope of previously issued patents.

Profit Optimization Central to TraceGains Mission

LogoTraceGains’ Profit Optimizer enables businesses to find and analyze the most critical value chain connections and sources of impact. Poorly performing suppliers can be properly counseled or replaced, and adverse internal events or practices can be minimized or eliminated entirely. By correlating and analyzing previously disparate data sets in the value chain, only TraceGains makes it possible to connect upstream inputs, suppliers, and raw materials to downstream outcomes such as product quality or customer satisfaction. Companies can then coach or replace poorly performing suppliers and counteract profit-draining events within the enterprise, and also perpetuate positive practices internally and throughout the supply chain, to achieve complete profit optimization.
