Mailbox Nationwide Faces Complaints from Oxfordshire Agency Reports Mailbox Nationwide Warning

San Francisco, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/19/2012 -- Tobin Jones, director of Tobin Jones Ltd, a lettings agency in Oxfordshire, says that potential customers of Mailbox Nationwide should be warned of the company’s unsatisfactory service.

Mailbox Nationwide is advertised as a leaflet distribution company offering short lead times and streamlined order processing. They cover “every” UK postcode area and offer targeting via mosaic profiling, postcode, map areas, boundaries, or to specification. Their services are based on efficiency, ease of use, and cost effective solutions.

According to Jones, as of July 2012, a search revealed there were nine unsatisfied court judgements against Mailbox Nationwide Ltd.

In 2010, Tobin Jones Ltd. located Mailbox Nationwide using a Google search and commissioned them for a large maildrop. Jones said, “Cutting a long story short, they did not drop our leaflets (they did not even collect half of them) and would not refund their charges. We took them to the small claims court and won our case.”

Regarding that particular case, Caroline Pocock, owner of Mailbox Direct, promised payment in the form of 500 installments and has yet to make good on the payments.

Jones’ company arranged for Court bailiffs to visit and seize goods to the value of what was owed to his company. None of the goods at the site belonged to Mailbox Nationwide, according to Mailbox Direct. Communication with the company and Mrs. Pocock has been stagnant, even though random website phone inquiries for quotes are answered immediately.

Pocock stated that the company was in liquidation and no longer trading. Jones says that the company has not been placed in liquidation and his company has contacted Devon Trading Standards to investigate her business due to similar complaints.

“They don’t deliver your leaflets and they do take your money. Don’t be taken in and we recommend very strongly that you don’t use them. They are very dishonest!,” says Jones.

Before considering using Mailbox Nationwide, or other service providers, it is wise to do your own preliminary investigation or background check. The internet can provide a wealth of information in most cases. This will minimize your chances of being scammed.
