Maciha and Fisher Publish Outdoor Hospitality Essentials: A Foundation for Success

Centennial, CO -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/16/2013 -- Mark J. Maciha, Director of Northern Arizona University’s Park Ranger Training Program and owner of Canyon Vista Training and Consulting, along with Tracie Fisher, owner of Tate Fisher Marketing have co-authored Outdoor Hospitality Essentials: A Foundation for Success and Outdoor Hospitality Essentials: A Workbook for Success which are available on Amazon.com in print edition or for Kindle.

Outdoor Hospitality Essentials: A Foundation for Success addresses the Generalist and Associate levels of ARVC’s newly developed Outdoor Hospitality Education Program (OHEP), with the Professional level publication due out later this year.

“We wrote this book to provide the first definitive resource for ARVC’s new Outdoor Hospitality Education Program and to give park employees a jump-start to a successful job experience,“ said Tracie Fisher. “The book will be used as a guide for employee training at several parks for the upcoming season.”

Maciha is the Chairman of the National School of RV Park and Campground Management and has been a Regent of the school since its inception in 1994. Fisher is a Regent of the campground school and past Executive Director of the Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds in Michigan. Together, they have worked with RV Park and Campground staff and managers in the public and private sector for more than 30 years.
