Having represented clients in Lancaster County in a variety of matters, Rothermel brings years of diversity and experience to the practice. As a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (B.A.) and the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law School (J.D.), Rothermel has experience in several areas of practice. These include family law (divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and adoptions), civil litigation (contract disputes, construction disputes, etc.), Orphans' Court litigation/guardianships, employment law (non-compete clauses, compensation issues, etc.), business law (entity creation, formation, and governance), real estate (residential and commercial leases, partition of real estate, etc.), estate planning, and estate administration. Rothermel officially joined the team in January of 2019, becoming the fourth partner of MMZ.
In addition to his extensive experience, Rothermel is also a resident of Lancaster County and actively donates his time to multiple community programs. He is currently the treasurer of the Lancaster Bar Association, on the board of directors for both the Lancaster Science Factory and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship, and is also a coordinator and volunteer for Lancaster County Wills for Heroes.
