Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/27/2013 -- MiMedx Group Inc (PINK:MDXG) announced that U.S. Patent Office has issued 4 more U.S. Patents for placental tissue grafts. Patents are given specific patent numbers and distinct grant dates.

The office has given U.S. Patent Number 8,357,403, to Placental Tissue Grafts having grant date of January 22 this year. Second patent has grant date of February 12 of year 2013 with a U.S. Patent Number 8,372,437 for Improved Placental Tissue Grafts. Then the U.S. Patent Number 8,372,438 is given to Method for Inhibiting Adhesion Formation Using Improved Placental Grafts and U.S. Patent Number 8,372,439 to Method for Treating a Wound Using Improved Placental Tissue Graft. These two patents have same grant date of February 12.

MiMedx Group management is optimistic with this new achievement. CEO and Chairman Parker said that the new patents are a pleasure for organization and will help guard intellectual property rights.
