New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/01/2013 --Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE: BSX) announced financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2012, as well as sales and earnings per share (EPS) guidance for the first quarter and full year 2013.

Reported sales of $1.821 billion, a year-over-year decline of 1 percent on a reported basis and on a constant currency basis excluding divested businesses. Delivered GAAP EPS of $0.04 and adjusted EPS of $0.18. Generated strong operating cash flow of $370 million.

Achieved revenue growth of 14 percent and earned the clear number two share position in the U.S. in Neuromodulation, 10 percent in Endoscopy and 9 percent in Peripheral Interventions, all on a constant currency basis.

SunEdison and CAP Sign Agreement to Build 100MW Solar PV Plant in Chile.SunEdison, a leading global solar energy services provider and subsidiary of MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. (NYSE: WFR), has signed an agreement with the Chilean mining and steel group CAP to construct what is expected to be the largest solar photovoltaic power plant in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.

CAP is the largest iron ore mining, steel producer and steel processor group in Chile.

We have worked to deliver an innovative solution to CAP designed to reduce their energy costs while deriving up to 15 percent of their electricity supply from clean energy."
