New York Travel Writers Society Announces 2013 Award Nominations Are Now Open for Businesses and Companies

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/04/2013 -- New York Travel Writers Society is a society for travel writers, photographers, travel media, and, hospitality related professionals. Founded in 2012, NYTWS currently has over 750 world-wide members and continues to grow on a daily basis. We are pleased to announce that nominations for businesses and companies in the travel industry and travel media industries are now open.

OFFICIAL RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS

All travel and travel media related businesses may enter. Simply select the appropriate category. If your business or company falls into more than one category, separate entry forms must be submitted.

Winners will be announced at our 2013 Holiday Gala on December 14, 2013 in New York City. It is highly recommended that you send at least one person as a delegate from your company to the Gala to represent your company or business who will be able to accept the award on behalf of the business or company if you win your category.

Membership in New York Travel Writers Society is NOT required for business and company Nominations

NOMINATIONS

Nominations will be accepted from March 1, 2013 through May 14, 2013. All nominations received will be placed on the voting ballot to help create a level playing field, therefore, multiple entries for the same company in the same category are not necessary.

VOTING

Votes will be cast by members of New York Travel Society, and, each member's ID and IP address will be recorded to limit one vote per member. Voting will begin on May 15, 2013 and run through September 15, 2013.

WINNERS

Winners will be announced at the New York Travel Writers Society Gala Ball and Awards Ceremony. This is a black tie affair and proper attire is required. Winners need not be present, but, it is highly recommended.
