CommonWealth board was informed by Keith Meister’s Corvex and Related that their new offer of $2.26 billion or $27 a share, was subject to CommonWealth cancelling its planned equity offering and engaging in discussion with them in the coming 48 hours.

However, the corporation pushed ahead with the offering, paying no attention to the terms of the buyout bid and selling shares at $19 a share, a 20% discount to the stock's finish on Wednesday.

CommonWealth REIT recently slip -4.49% after opening at $21.77, its current trading price is $21.51, in the current session stocks gained volume of 11.99 million shares until now, whereas its average volume is 2.87 million shares.
