The article says that GCSE students will now be taught how to cook the bird, this is because school teachers are partnering with BASC's Taste of Game Campaign.
It has been stated that school students across the UK will now be learning the benefits of game meat such as pheasant. The secondary school teachers will have to attend an intensive workshop where they will be taught how to prepare and cook two recipes which have pheasant in. The article also states that the estimated number of GCSE students who will be receiving lessons over the next three years is a massive 60,000. Adding to this, Taste of Game are also encouraging shooters to support this new scheme by donating birds to the schools taking part.
