8 Bit Evolution will be joining the 5th annual Cowlitz Gamers event to raise money for Youth Charity
Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/30/2014 -- 8 Bit Evolution, a Pittsburgh based video game restoration firm, is teaming up with Cowlitz Gamers and Wafflefoot to raise money for The Children's Justice & Advocacy Center.
8 Bit Evolution retores and customizes retro video game consoles and handhelds. For the upcoming event, the talented team will be going the extra mile for a good cause. Explains 8 Bit Evolution co founder Matty J " We will be donating customized consoles for special silent auction, as well as donating our time and efforts by creating another set of premium release custom inserts, instruction manuals and cases. A limited release of only 35 will be also be available at the Cowlitz Event".
The Children's Justice & Advocacy Center is a non-profit team that gives children a safe place to escape child abuse and neglect while providing resources to aid in investigation, prosecution, treatment and healing. The Cowlitz Gamers is now in its fifth year, having raised over $16,000 for CJAC. The event organizer, John Hancock adds ""The hours invested in this event pales in comparison to the joy it brings me to support a cause that's dear to me while working in a medium I know and love: video games!" The purpose of the show is to offer a fun event that also gives back to a local non profit, something that fits in perfectly with the 8 Bit Evolution philosophy.
