Rea & Associates Announces Graduation of Nathan Esselburn from Dublin Ohio Leadership Program

Supervisor At Top 100 CPA Firm Graduates From City of Dublin’s Eight Month Leadership Training Program

Dublin, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/29/2018 -- Rea & Associates, a regional CPA and business consulting firm, recently announced that a supervisor at its Dublin office completed an eight month leadership training program led and coordinated by the City of Dublin's Chamber of Commerce. According to an earlier announcement from a Rea spokesperson, Esselburn was honored as a member of the program's 2018 graduating class.

Leadership Dublin, according to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce website, is an executive leadership program that provides participants with tools needed to become active and influential leaders in the Dublin community.

A spokesperson with Rea & Associates CPA went on to share that the firm's leadership considers the Leadership Dublin program to be a valuable resource for up-and-coming leaders within the firm.

"Our firm's guiding principles encourage us to be active and invested in our communities," explained Mark McKinley, CPA, principal and president of Rea's West Central Region, which includes the firm's Dublin and Lima offices. "We've had several team members participate in Leadership Dublin over the years and we have plans to send many more. Not only has this program proved to be incredibly educational to participants from a leadership perspective, more members of our Dublin team have become more active in the community than ever before. We are big fans of the great work the Chamber continues to do for our local business community, especially with regard to our up-and-coming professionals."

According to a public statement from Rea, Leadership Dublin encourages participants to participate in local community service initiatives and facilitate community-oriented projects.

During his tenure as a Leadership Dublin participant, Esselburn said he was a part of a group project that focused on creating and implementing a plan to develop an internet-based database for the Emerald Campus. The database is designed to connect students with businesses for the purpose of gaining experience and insight into their desired area of interest. The Emerald Campus, explained Esselburn, is a non-traditional learning environment that offers career exploration opportunities for students and young professionals.

"Leadership Dublin's eight month course was a great experience and a wonderful opportunity to network with other professionals in the Dublin area," said Esselburn. "City officials continue to take pride in making this city the best it can be and Dublin will continue to be a great place to live and work."

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Esselburn joined Rea & Associates in 2011. He resides in Dublin where, he said, he enjoys volunteering in the community. Esselburn also serves as the Chancellor for Knights of Columbus. More information about him can be found at https://www.reacpa.com/biography/nathan-esselburn/.
